Cam's first trip to Santa's Village today!!! We had such a great time (until the drive home, but more about that later) and she was an absolute delight. No big surprise that her favorite part of the day was swinging in the swing. We could've saved the $50 and just went to a playground....but Santa's not at the playground! I was a little nervous about what her reaction to the big guy would be, but she loved that jolly old man. The "professionals" took a great picture I will have to scan in when we get back.
So shortly after meeting Santa, we packed up and started our 1.15 minute drive back. About halfway into the drive Cam pooped, I mean she REALLY pooped. It was a poopsplosion (thank you prunes). I looked back there to check on her and she was COVERED from head to toe in poop. As soon as she saw me, she burst into tears. So sad. We pulled over into a gas station parking lot and started the hour long clean up. I went through 2 travel packs of wipes! Big Thank You to TIFF! If it wasn't for you, Jon wouldn't have had a random package of chux in his car so we could lay her on it during the clean up. It was THAT bad.
Once we FINALLY got home, I plopped her right in the tub while Jon hosed down her carseat, clothes and toys.
After her bath, she felt muuuuuuch better.
I hope that NEVER happens again.
Favorite post so far...selfishly i'm glad she pooped like that. It made for a great daily cam story! xoxo
ReplyDeleteOMG! So sorry you had to deal with that! At least it was on your way home and not on the way there :( The pictures are great and brought back so many memories! I can't wait to take JJ!
